Conductor SA2.6 + RigWheels Passport/RailDolly Integration + Rotator

This configuration is brand new and adds our newly released Rotator - a precision, heavy-duty panning base that bolts directly into the RigWheels Passport/RailDolly and is controlled by the Conductor SA2.6.  This unlocks two powerful new shooting scenarios

1. Big Cameras with Autopan

If you love the simplicity and strength of a RigWheels Passport/RailDolly but want automated motion with larger cameras, this setup delivers. Pairing the Conductor with the Rotator gives you perfectly coordinated dolly + pan movement, ideal for looping interviews and polished B-cam work.

With a heavy-duty gear train and virtually zero backlash, this solution lets more RigWheels users run the big cameras they prefer - whether for interviews or event coverage with reliable, repeatable front-of-stage dolly moves.

2. PTZ Mover with Autopan

Adding Rotator to your Conductor and RigWheels Passport/RailDolly setup enables more consistent framing - giving you cinematic counter-pans and without burdening operators or relying solely on autotracking.

High-end PTZ tracking continues to improve, but this system ensures predictable, repeatable, and visually refined motion from the PTZs you already own.

Conductor SA2.6 + RigWheels Passport/RailDolly Integration Integration

The eMotimo Conductor SA2.6 is an affordable, yet exceedingly powerful motion controller that commands and controls up to 8 axes of movement.  Its FIZ port powers your Tilta Nucleus-M motors for coordinated focus, and zoom control along with your other axes of movement. 

 The Conductor with RigWheels Passport/RailDolly integration is versatile and supports three main configurations.  

1. PTZ Mover

All camera manufacturers have high end PTZ’s with fantastic image quality.  Adding a slide axis for cinematic motion and loops adds production value to your existing PTZs.

2. Move your heavyweight cameras (Autodolly)

It’s never been easier to create cinematic dolly moves that hit their marks on time. With coordinated Focus and Zoom control, a complex move like a zolly where the Dolly, Focus, and Zoom axes need to work in sync becomes simple.

3. Add a Gimbal

When you add your DJI RS2/3/4, the Conductor can control and keyframe Pan/Tilt/Roll for cameras up to 10lbs (RS4 Pro). The Conductor’s guided interview mode makes setting up an automated looping interview shot simple and fast and reliable.

In addition to fast local control with the included gaming controller, each Conductor kit has a dedicated wired network port for reliable integration with control room solutions like BitFocus Companion and Skaarhoj PTZ controllers.
