Thanks for visiting Hot Rod Camera's tabletop cinematography event with DP Timur Civan, Sony, and eMotimo.
- It was a ton of fun to play and be part of the solution to get the shot. I learned a ton from Timur on lighting and creative setups. Prisms on iPad that reflect images that are playing in sync with a high end monitor in the background - neat. He's got a way he likes things and a vision to get it and was a pleasure to work with.
- I learned about the Sony Burano and its updated firmware. Anything that was asked of the rig, we easily accomplished in a few clicks from multiple monitoring options - as well as phasing the outputs to insure we didn't see artifacts or rolling shutter issues on the monitor. We even started playing with IBIS options as some of the shots reached out to 180mm on a Ranger 75-180mm Zoom from Laowa.
- Hot Rod, a long time friend of eMotimo, supplies not only a wonderful space to chat and shoot product, but very nice Stone IPA's from eMotimo's home town - San Diego. Thanks Ilya, Michael, and Dain and the rest of the Hot Rod Camera team for inviting out and being wonderful hosts.
- eMotimo - We pushed our ST4.3 to its on the Dana Dolly to capture and field program high-precision 6-axis shots - Pan/Tilt/Dolly/Turntable/Focus/Zoom to make the star - a Prada perfume bottle, shine, glint, and reflect in ways to really highlight a luxury brand.
We were showing off a few solution with Dana Dolly. Check out a few more below. Reach out if you have questions to sales@emotimo.com 415-684-8162
