I've tried the others and they were a huge letdown... Don't want to drag any names through the mud but if you were looking for a video motion control system that can program moves then you know who the other players are... Thankfully I found eMotimo and the ST4! Finally I found a motion control and tracking system for video that works. They kept it so it can be as simple as you want using the internal controls for programming moves or hook it up to DragonFrame and have more control than you could ever dream of! After a really trying couple of days shooting a macro product video with my two other systems and being completely let down by the results, I searched for yet another solution... Luckily I found eMotimo and gave them a call. They knew what I was going through and took the time to go over the features of their system and how it would work in my situation. And after I received it they were there to help me along the way. It was a long road to get here but I am so glad I found eMotimo!!!

I've no been an ST-4 owner for over a year, during this time there have been a number of software/ firmware upgrades, each one enhancing the ST-4's performance & functionality.
My main use for my ST-4 is time lapse & the ST-4 is absolutely brilliant for this task. Build quality, is exceptional, customer service & communication is first class, there is nothing but praise for Brian & his team for what they've managed to do with this excellent product. I will be adding an additional Focus FZ motor to run on a modified slider with a 3D printed rack gear. This is another beautiful aspect of the Emotimo system, it allows for those with a bit of engineering skills to expand the functionality even further using off the shelf accessories. Whether you're buying the bundle or discrete components from the range, you can expect the same level of quality & compatibility across the product range.

(Reviewed origianlly for spectrum ST4) I am just a customer and have no connection to the company. The ST4 bundle is a Mercedes. I love moving to a well crafted tool that perfectly does the job, this is it. Using the PS4 controller is so natural I couldn't go back to anything else if I wanted to. ST4 is very, very well built, easy to use (create START point with a click for all 4 axis. then move to end point and simply click) and performs flawlessly. I suggest getting the slider, too, as it too is so well made. Really. I rarely review things, but I highly recommend the ST4 bundle wholeheartedly.

(Reviewed origianlly for spectrum ST4) I recently upgraded from the eMotimo TB3 to the eMotimo ST4. I am super impressed how great this new and very improved version of their programmable slider is. Logan and Brian have done an amazing job of upgrading the performance and abilities of the slider. It works in both live and time-lapse so it fulfills all requirements one can imagine. It is incredible well designed and built. It works exactly as promised. It is easy to use, and even interfaces with Dragon Frame, if one is doing stop motion animation. I couldn't be happier with this incredible machine and wonderful tool. This is at the top of my list of recommended slider and time-lapse tools. I highly recommend if you are doing any slider work, live action or time-lapse or stop motion animation, this is the tool to get.
