Remote control moves a camera while you're operating it. Motion control understands position and time for everything it controls. That means you can create a preset or loop, save it. When ready you press go and the robotics execute it for you while you are hands off.

Cinematic Presets
Traditional presets are about getting the camera to a saved position so you can cut to it once it gets there. eMotimo's Cinematic Presets are about making the journey to that position part of the shot.
Save the target position for everything you are controlling (Pan/Tilt/Focus/Zoom/Dolly). Then choose how long the move should take, and control ramp timing (easing).
Authoring (setting up) up a Cinematic Preset takes just a few seconds.
Recall it with a button push, and the camera moves smoothly and predictably, creating usable footage from the moment it starts moving until it lands precisely on target.
With durations from seconds to minutes, Cinematic Presets can be running automated while you are doing something else.
Loops
Loops cycle continuously between two Cinematic Preset positions over the duration, ramp ramp values (easing) and dwells times you specify.
Authoring (setting up) a loop takes about 5 seconds.
Start one and let it run until you're ready to take control live, transition to a preset recall, or run another loop.
Love the same motion between preset locations, but want to quickly change timing, you can use another loop slot with the same presets, but different timing.
No boring shots! Loops really come to life when you add real camera movement—like a slide or dolly—along with framing through pan, tilt, and zoom.
Want an interesting transition or safety shot to cut to? A looping dolly position can always be ready for you to cut in to.
CINEMATIC MOVEMENT, NOT JUST FRAMING CAMERAS
eMotimo systems are designed to move cameras, not just point them. Add dolly or slider movement to create parallax, a sense of depth that static PTZ positions can't deliver. These are shots you can stay with longer. Looping moving shots give your director something interesting to cut to at almost any time.
